Here are some of the details and benefits:

J Hickam Photography requires 10 sessions to be considered a party, including the host! The sitting fee is $15 instead of $40. All of our prices are discounted for party participants. But, you do not want to just be a participant, you want to be a host! The host will receive extra discounts, and free portraits.

A party can be held at your house, and set up in a studio setting, or it can be held outdoors. It can be portraits of a baby or an entire family. There are so many additional benefits of hosting a party. Please contact me for further details!

Well, I have learned so much today that the information is coming out of my ears!! I felt like I was back in college with all the notes I was taking!
This is a little girl that in every way could pas for a blonde Jillian! It was so funny because everyone was talking about her personality and how cute and excited she was... then once we got in the room and she was gone... everyone was saying how it would be so hard to keep up with her! I sat there and thought... if you only knew! Hope you enjoy!

Texas School Day II

Yesterday,I sent an email to one of my clients at 2AM. Today I am blogging at ohhh whats that... 2AM!! Hint for next year... when they say you will be tired, and be up all the time... they MEAN it!!

Texas School of Photography

I am leaving Saturday, April 26th to go to College Station, Texas! I have a engagement session on Saturday, then I am staying there a week for the Texas School of Photography! I have never been, but from what I have heard... it is amazing!! I will be returning May 2nd, hopefully with lots of great ideas! If you need me, please leave a message on my cell phone. The Brave Ones!

With the help of the boys, Mrs. D decided to venture into the stream and sit on a rock! We were pretty much done, and the boys asked if I would take their picture on the rock... I told them I would do anything their parents would allow them to do! I love this picture! They all had so much fun, and they were a delight to work with!

Oh my gosh! Little Miss N. is the most beautiful thing I have seen! Her eyes are just amazing! Mr. W. is not too bad looking himself! I had so much fun on this father daughter shoot! I am so excited to take these pictures. Mrs. G. has been one of my best friends since we were 4 years old! (That officially makes her my "Oldest Friend"!!)We have had so many wonderful times together! I hope she enjoys her pictures!
I have to tell you all a little story... A few years ago, before I was crazy about photography, Mrs. A asked me to take a picture of her family! She has a Cannon Rebel. I was so confused! Needless to say, they didn't use the picture for anything! But, that sparked something in me! I wanted a camera like that, and wanted to be able to be good at it! So, here I am. Well, I have never had this happen to me before... Mr. M was absolutely petrified of me! I mean to the highest degree! I think his mom was ready to pull her hair out, but I have to say his face is one of an angel. I am so excited about the Baby & Child Contest. I am just going to write a brief description here, but go to my website for more information.

Your child's portrait could be worth $5000! My processing lab is holding a portrait contest that could pay YOU $5000 for your child's picture! Also, J Hickam Photography is holding our own contest within a contest. Each month we will give an 8x10 the qualifying winner. In July, we will have a Grand Prize winner that will receive a framed 16x20 portrait along with 2 FREE sessions to be used within a year! All family sessions will qualify to have a portrait submitted. Also, I will be holding mini sessions during the months of February-June! The voting process for the J Hickam Photography contest will be held on my Blog, using the poll!!

Well, I have to say that this family gave me a challenge. I think it was because it was Aunt Juju taking the pictures!! I would have to say that my personal favorite is Baby L reading the romance novel! We had fun, I know Mr. C is so excited that his sister-in-law has decided to have a career in photography! A very good friend of my sister's let me capture her family. I had so much fun! It was my very first family shoot. I think they set me up. They were perfect.
